WelcomeWelcome to the Northern Santa Gertrudis Breeders Group website. The aim of the NSGBG is to promote the Santa Gertrudis breed through sales and promotional activities. The success of the group is due not only to the enthusiasm of its members, but to their vision and initiatives to continue meeting the challenges of improving beef genetics for both market and client requirements. The NSGBG holds two annual sales, the March sale is the largest offering of commercial Santa Gertrudis held in NSW, and the September bull sale has the biggest selection & best value offering of Classified Santa Gertrudis bulls Australia wide. During August each year the NSGBG also has a huge promotional display at the Ag Quip Field days held at Gunnedah. The
NSGBG was formed in 1977 and for over 30 years has sold Classified
S bulls at the Tamworth Selling Complex. The sale date for
the 2012 sale is the 5th of September commencing at 11am.
